Arsenal legend not thinking of coaching

Arsenal’s invincible Robert Pires has no intention of launching a coaching career.

Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira who played with Pires for a successful Arsenal team in the past have taken coaching jobs at Monaco and Nice in Ligue 1. But Pires blatantly answered no to a question thrown at him on his future.

“Coaching? No. It’s a great job but it’s very difficult, you have to think about everything. It’s not in my plans. I don’t have the badges. I’m very happy because I’m an ambassador for Arsenal and a pundit on French TV for Champions League and Europa League. I can spend a lot of time with my family. I don’t have pressure. It’s very difficult finding out what to do after your career, you need to find a good way. For me, it’s a perfect life.” Pires said.
