Manchester United ace has no intention of quiting

Gilberto Silva, agent to Manchester United’s Fred, insists that the player has no intentions of quitting the club soon. Rather, Gilberto suggests that the Brazilian will fight hard for a place in the United’s playing body. Since joining from Shakhtar Donetsk in a £50m deal, Fred did not feature regularly under Jose Mourinho leading to suggestions he might seek an exit earlier than thought.

“But what I say to him is that he must keep working hard on a daily basis, he should be patient because the club is going through a delicate moment. But there is no chance of him leaving United. He has a five-year contract,” Gilberto told Daily Star.

Alexis Sanchez has clarified that he never bet on Jose Mourinho leaving the club. Suggestions on a newspaper alleged that they had entered a £20,000 bet with Marcos Rojo that Mourinho would be sacked by the club. And now the Chilean, who is under injury rehabilitation, has refuted the claims.

“This is FALSE!!! Jose gave me the chance to play for the best team in the world and I only have gratitude for him. We are a truly United team. We are MANCHESTER UNITED. Respect. I can’t wait to help the team!” Sanchez said as he tried to clarify the issue.

Mourinho was sacked and United appointed OIe Gunnar Solskjaer to oversee the team for six months. Solskjaer won the first match as the boss with a convincing 5-1 beating of Cardiff City.
