It’s every girl’s dream to walk own the aisle in a colorful wedding with her man of her choice,however Kenya’s celebrated comedian does not buy the idea of a wedding, urging that a big wedding is out of question for him.
The funny man who doubles up as an emcee Oga Obinna says he will never do a white wedding of his own, claiming that it’s something not worth investing in.
His new stand is a contradiction of a statement he made last year, saying that he planned to wed this year. The comedian has however now taken back those words.
The question of why he is yet to wed as the year is coming to an end arose after he surprised one of his wife with a brand new Toyota Passo worth Sh750,000 as a birthday gift two weeks ago.
In an interview with radio presenter Masawe Japani, Obinna laughed off the idea, saying from experience as an emcee, a big wedding is out of question for him.
Oga Obinna says he prefers civil wedding to church wedding.
“I’m not a champion for big weddings although I’m an emcee. People put millions into such events, then you find them a month or two later not together,” Obinna explained.
“I would prefer paying the bride price then we go to the Attorney General (for a civil wedding). It would save us the cost. I would rather use that money to do other things like buying another car,” he added.
The comedian also dismissed rumors that he has 20 children with different baby mamas, stating that he is a father of four biological children.
