From swimming in water to music!!Award winning swimmer drops new jam

The song is a fusion of Swahili and Spanish in a high Mexican tempo. features another new name in the Kenyan music industry, Mexican born singer Edgar Manuel popularly known as Romantico.

Jason is best remembered for his sterling performances for Kenya in the swimming pool at international events, including the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Jason is best remembered for his sterling performances for Kenya in the swimming pool at international events, the 32-year-old Dunford won two gold medals for Kenya at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

He has since retired from competitive swimming having last represented Kenya in an international event during the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

Dunford  also won a Commonwealth Games gold medal in the 50 fly in Delhi in 2010 and also holds 17 All-Africa Games medals and 3 World University Games medals. His best Olympic finish was 5th-place in Beijing in 2008 in the 100 fly.Image result for jason dunford and romantico

 

He was 12th in that same event in 2012, on both occasions racing with his brother, David, as the country’s only Olympic swimming representatives.

The multi-talented Dunford has since ventured into journalism having joined BBC Africa broadcast team in August this year.

Romantico, on his part has gradually beeing building his repertoire as an up and coming act in the Kenyan hip hop scene.

His debut Swahili single was titled Mkora which was followed by Tai Tai featuring Prince Amani.

Recently,Romantico revealed the he came to Kenya to study Theology but later on chose to venture into music.
