A rare injustice was witnessed when the members of the Kenya National Paralympics Team held a protest along Thika Road over the government’s failure to remit their dues.
The group blocked off a section of the highway near Safari Park and vowed not to leave until their grievances were addressed by the government and the Sports Ministry in particular.
The police officers however sent to handle the situation drove many to shock with their inhuman style that involved a lot of mistreatment of the members of the team.
Here is the video;
Media personality Kalekye Mumo has condemned the incident inviting the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to give answers.
A number of Kenyans cursed the police after learning of the incident.
Others thought the team did wrong by blocking the road.
Many however maintained that the video exposed police shame.
