Over the last few days, speculation has been rife on whether or not there is a rift between President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
This is after President Ruto appeared to differ with Gachagua on matters resources allocation with the Head of State correcting the DP, saying no region deserves to be discriminated against based on their voting patterns during General Elections.
On the other hand, Gachagua maintains that those who supported the Kenya Kwanza government overwhelmingly during the election should be given precedence as they are the major stakeholders.
However, the DP dismissed the reports of a fallout between himself and President Ruto as he accused the media of targeting the government through what he described as unfair coverage.
The second in command also vowed to support Ruto in the next general elections, adding that he will rally Mt Kenya residents to vote for the President to the last man.
Do you think there is a rift between the President and his deputy as claimed by critics?
