Good morning Kenyans.
We are almost at the end of the week that could only be described by one word which is crazy.
The political arena has been full of twist and turns, exchange of words and full of games.
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has possibly been having sleepless nights due to the intense grilling by the 11-man Senate committee.
Waiguru thought it would be a walk in the park during her impeachment hearing which turned out to be a nightmare thanks to one Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru.
Njiru gave the County boss a run for her money as he easily destroyed the governor’s defense team.
In spite of the mauling by the legal practitioner, Waiguru seemed so confident or rather overconfident to the point she was captured playing Solitaire.
The moment captured by a photojournalist during the hearing elicited emotions from most netizens and some political figures.
It was proclaimed that the fact the first time governor could afford a moment of fun during a serious process, just showed how confident Waiguru was that she would win the case.
Her moment of shuffling cards was also alleged to be a direct message to the MCAs that caused her downfall.

This brings about the big question, does Waiguru’s behaviour warrant her a right to be reinstated as governor?

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Lawyer Makau Mutua lit the internet with their online spat.
Following the purge by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Makau took the opportunity to attack Murkomen over his behaviour during his ouster as the Senate Majority Leader.
The US-based advocate noted that Murkomen should have humbled himself in the manner Garissa MP Aden Duale did after becoming the latest casualty of the Jubilee party clean up.
This leaves one wondering, is this attack on Senator Murkomen fair?
