COVID-19 UPDATE: 25 More Confirmed Cases as Total Hit 490

Health Cabinet Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangagngi has announced that 25 more Kenyans have tested positive for Coronavirus.

Speaking at Afya House Nairobi on Monday during the usual briefing the CAS announced that the total number now stands at 490 with age disparity of the new cases ranging from 6 months to 60-year-old.

Of the 25 new confirmed cases, 10 are from Mombasa while 15 from Nairobi.

The Health CAS called on Kenyans o heed to government directive saying things are not yet back to normal.

The ministry also announced six more recoveries bringing the total number to 173.

Of the 25 cases, 13 were men and 12 were female.

CAS Mercy Mwangangi announced that 1,012 individuals had been tested for the virus over the previous 24 hours.

The 25 confirmed cases are all Kenyans.
