Mikel Arteta takes charge of his sixth game in charge as the Arsenal head coach this Saturday when Sheffield United visit the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal once again let a lead slip away when they drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace last time out.
The Gunners have been below par for most of the season and not even the arrival of Mikel Arteta has changed that. They sit 10th in the Premier League table with a mere 28 points from 22 matches.
Sheffield United, on the other hand, is enjoying an impressive campaign first campaign since earning promotion to the English top flight. They are sixth on the table with 32 points which is four better than Arsenal.
In the first leg, Sheffield completely shut out Arsenal then managed by Unai emery and ended up as the worthy 1-0 victors.
Team News
Arsenal will be without their captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang who is suspended following his red card against Crystal Palace for a dangerous tackle in the second half. The gunners could also be without Sead Kolasinac who has a thigh strain while Dani Ceballos and Hector Bellerin are also doubtful.
Unlike the home team, Sheffield does not have any players in the treatment room or suspended for the game. This will allow them to keep to the same line-up which secured the victory against West Ham.
Betting Preview
Arsenal desperately needs a win especially at home where Mikel Arteta intends to make the Emirates Stadium a fortress. Despite not getting the win at Palace, Arsenal played well and should they play as good as they did then, they will get all three points.
