Pregnant TV star and YouTuber Joan Munyi aka Yummy Mummy is giving fans an opportunity to celebrate her last journey to motherhood in a luxurious baby shower.
However, there is a catch, fans have to pay Sh1000 to attend the shower and this has pissed off people because they don’t understand why they are paying to attend a baby shower.

Joan has now explained her decision to throw her own baby shower and why she is charging fans for it.
“I want to answer a few questions that people have asked me about the baby shower. One, people have asked me why I am planning my shower. It’s because for me what I have in my head will cost people time energy and money and I just wanted it to be exactly how I wanted it to be,” she said on Instagram.
She also revealed why she is charging fans to attend.
“I’ve also been asked why people are paying. What people are paying for is just the way you go to an ordinary baby shower and contribute money for food and drinks. Actually, the money which you are contributing is going towards your food and drinks of the day coz I don’t want you to come and then now I cannot afford to feed you,” Yummy Mummy explained.
