Players To Watch as Bandari United Host Gor Mahia in Mombasa

The Kenya Premier League takes center stage this Sunday with a blockbuster fixture at the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa. Last season runners up Bandari will host the defending Champions Gor Mahia.

Below are players who could be the difference in the fixture.

Lawrence Juma

The midfielder is a key figure in a very mobile engine room for the champions. The former Nzoia man reads the game perfectly and cuts out attacks before they even begin.

Juma can also pick a pass and should Bandari give him time to operate, he has the talent to hurt them in more ways than one.

William Wadri

The Ugandan attacking midfielder is nothing short of a joy to watch. He glides across the pitch with confidence and is a very accomplished dribbler.

He starts most attacks for Bandari with the perfect example being in his last match against AFC Leopards where his dribble from midfield created the Dockers’ second goal in a 2-2 draw.

Cliffton Miheso

The winger is exactly the type of player defenders hate to play against. Quick and fast with and without the ball, Miheso keeps opposing fullbacks in their own half.

He also has a deadly left foot that has produced three goals so far this season.

Cliff Kasuti

The winger scored in his last match against AFC Leopards and will surely be looking to make it two in a row on Sunday. Kasuti is speedy and his delivery on crosses impressive too.

The Gor Mahia defenders will need to be wary of the threat that he poses.
