Murdered “Star” Journalist Eric Oloo left 11 Day Old Baby With Ex-Wife

Details have merged that the murdered Radio Africa Journalist Eric Oloo has left behind two years old girl and an 11-day old baby with the ex-wife whom they had separated in 2018.

A report by Kahawatungu website states that Mr. Oloo had separated with her wife after being married for two years but before he met his death plans for reconciliation were in line.

Lucy Atieno, aged 23 years narrated that the two had gone their separate ways in 2017, after meeting in 2016 and living together for one year.

According to her, she had moved back to her parent’s house but they re-united early this year where sho got pregnant.

Mr. Oloo’s body was found in the house of Ugunja Police Station Deputy OCS Sabina Kerubo whom is the main suspect.

The two are reported to have been dating for some time and they were living as couples.

An uncle to Oloo, Michael Oyugi, however, stated that earlier in the year, the journalist had visited the rural home in the company of Ms. Kerubo, the police officer.

Ms. Kerubo is held as the main suspect as police investigate the incident.

The policewoman, who was transferred from Nandi County two years, was arrested alongside another man – Victor  Lutta – believed to have been in the house at the time of Oloo’s death.

Also arrested were the police woman’s teenage daughter and their house help.

Ugunja OCPD Ibrahim Muchuma said they learned about Mr. Oloo’s death from the couple’s landlord, who reported the matter.

“We received information from Ms. Kerubo’s landlord. The police officer had gone to his house to request transport to take someone to hospital who was not in good shape,” said the OCPD.

Oloo, 41,  had a deep cut on the forehead at the back of the head. His face was swollen and he was bleeding from the mouth.
