Arsenal will host Southampton in the English Premier League looking for their first win on five league matches.
Below, we look at how Unai Emery’s side could line up.
Defense
Bernd Leno has been ital for the Gunners in goal and should start. Meanwhile, Hector Bellerin made his long-awaited comeback in the loss to Leicester City two weeks ago and will start again at right-back.
Kieran Tierney should start at left-back while Rob Holding should partner David Luiz at the heart of the defense.
Midfield
With Granit Xhaka expected to miss, Lucas Torreira will get a chance to start in his preferred defensive midfield role. The Uruguay midfielder has a very good understanding with Matteo Guendouzi who will start alongside him in a double pivot.
Mesut Ozil completes the midfield trio in his favored attacking midfield position.
Attack
Nicholas Pepe has been missing in the past two league fixtures for the Gunners but with Arsenal desperate for a win, he should start on the right-wing. The Ivory Coast International has one goal in the league and two assists.
On the left-wing, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will look to add to his 8 league goals. The Gabon striker is the captain of the side following the demotion of Granit Xhaka.
Alexandre Lacazette missed very good chances against Leicester City but the striker will once again lead Arsenals hunt for goals.
Starting XI: Leno, Bellerin, Tierney, Holding, Luiz, Torreira, Gunedouzi, Ozil, Pepe, Aubameyang, Lacazette.
