Up next is an inform Ulinzi Stars and Mwalala has challenged his troops to show character by beating Benjamin Nyangweso’s charges.

“I want them to show character by winning today. It’s a bad run that we need to bring to an end and it’s only them (players) who can make this happen.

“We lost our last game against Stima due to fatigue. We were very good in the first half, we scored a goal and even had chances to add more. The second half was totally a different match all together, the energy levels went down and in seven minutes we conceded three goals. It’s something that we have been trying to address and hopefully we will get a positive response against Ulinzi Stars,” he added.

On his team’s Caf Confederation Cup outing, the former Kenya international stated that his players will benefit from the exposure. Bandari were ousted by Guinean side Horoya in the third qualification round.

“It was a good run for the boys and I believe that they will benefit from that. We played three tough sides and I think in all the matches we showed resilience and good fighting spirit. The lessons picked will be beneficial to us in the future,” he added.
