Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka could be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium in the January Transfer Window. The Switzerland midfielder has been missing from the Gunners matchday squads in the past two matches after he had a row with the Arsenal fans just over three weeks ago.
Xhaka was booed off by the fans after he walked off slowly following his substitution on the hour mark with Arsenal having blown a 2 goal lead and were drawing 2-2 with Crystal Palace. In return, the player hurled abusive words at the Emirates Stadium crowd and went straight into the tunnel.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has since stripped him of the captaincy and replaced him with Gabonese striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. With the January transfer window fast approaching, it has emerged that Xhaka has asked to leave the club as he does not see a future at Arsenal anymore.
Xhaka fears his Arsenal career is now over after being stripped of the captaincy following his bitter fall-out with Gunners fans. It now seems certain that he will be sold in the next transfer window with Germany the most likely destination. [@MirrorFootball]

Granit Xhaka joined Arsenal in the summer of 2016 from German club Borussia Mönchengladbach for a fee of around £30–35 million. He has however been a disappointing buy and is the most error-prone player in the English Premier League since he was signed.
