As it’s said in the African traditions, every woman must know how to cook and prepare a meal for her husband.
Switch TV presenter Joyce Omondi is a perfect example and has set standards for the modern Nairobi wife. She took to her Instagram to share a photo of a meal she had prepared for her husband, Waihiga Mwaura.
The gospel artist went all out by preparing a finger-licking meal which will make you crave for it. She made chocolate bread banana muffins cakes, beef and pork lasagna which are his favorites.
How sweet of her to celebrate her husband for his first day.

Mrs. Mwaura could not hide the excitement, she later posted on her Instagram congratulating him and wishing him the best on his new job.
Waihiga Mwaura replaced Hussein Mohammed who was the leading news anchor on a show called, News Night that was aired every Tuesday.
The replacement came days after Hussein left, he had served for 10 years at the Royal Media Services.
Mr. Waihiga was the host of Monday Report with Trevor Ombija. He was set to take over his new job on 5th November 2019.
The former Citizen Sports presenter was the first man to win the BBC Komla Dumor Award 2018 and also won CNN Africa journalist of the year award in the sports category, 2012. He said that he wants to tell the African story in a different way.
The award-winning journalist has been married for four years now.
