What would you do to please that one person you love and hold in high regards? Have you ever thought of taking a bullet for someone?

Well, Deputy President William Ruto is a very lucky man. The man from Sugoi keeps winning souls all over thanks to his Tanga Tanga escapades that have seen him visit different parts of the Country.

Everywhere Ruto goes, he must convert a Soul. The Bible says that there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

With this in mind, every single person that Ruto lures to his side is a plus to him.

Some leaders have become so loyal to Ruto that they are willing to risk it all just to see the hustler make it to Statehouse come 2022.

A total of Five MPs from Nyamira County have said they are ready to lose their seats in the next General Election for supporting Ruto for the top seat. The MPs cautioned members of the Abagusii community against supporting any other candidate but Ruto, saying their votes would go to waste.

Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango), Ben Momanyi (Borabu), Shadrack Mose (Kitutu Masaba),Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango) and Jerusa Momanyi (Woman Rep) said Ruto was the only person qualified to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta when he completes his second and final term in office.

Speaking in Nyamira, the lawmakers said should Ruto win the top seat, the Kisii community stands to benefit because he has already accommodated it.

Ruto has been making trips to the Kisii region and it looks like his efforts are finally paying off.

There have however been calls from a section of leaders from the Kisii Community to have Interior CS Fred Matiang’i go for the Top Seat in a bid to have the community get back to the National Leadership picture.

Ruto on the other hand continues to make great inroads in the region and despite being frustrated by Matiangi’s office, he has continued to stand tall and focused in his Presidential bid.

It will be remembered that Ruto’s visit to Nyamira county on Friday suffered a major setback after members of the provincial administration boycotted all the three functions he presided.

Tradition has always been that chiefs, their assistants, deputy county commissioners and commissioners attend functions presided over by the President and his deputy clad in their official uniform.

Other leaders who also snubbed Ruto’s function include Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, his deputy Amos Nyaribo, the Speaker of the Assembly Mofat Teya and a host of MCAs.

Do you think Ruto will have the last laugh in the Kisii region come 2022?
