Detectives linked to Directorate Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a man in possession with narcotics.
The 34 year old Mathias Kangoti Murayi was arrested on Wednesday evening by Directorate of Criminal Investigations Officers.
34-year-old Mathias Kangoti Murayi was today evening arrested in Pangani by Detectives for being in possession of Narcotic drugs. During the sting operations, some of the drugs he was found carrying include, Cocaine, Heroin and Methcathinone concealed in an icebox.
The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
The suspect was also found in possession of the following items:-
A digital weighing machine
Two unused needles
Syringe
Three Lighters
A scientific Calculator
Two scalpels
Surgical gloves &
A bunch of cotton wool
The suspect will be arraigned in Court tomorrow.

Elsewhere, police on Wednesday nabbed over 3 million pieces of banned plastic bags and another 2,131 of expired diapers in Kamukunji.
The merchandise owner John Wachira Wang’ondu was also arrested during the sting operations conducted by DCI officers in conjunction with NEMA officers.

The Crackdown on non woven carrier bags by the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) began on April 1 this year.
