Kajiado governor Joseph Ole Lenku has disbanded the embattled board of Oloolaiser Water and Sewerage Company.

Governor Joseph Ole Lenku sacked the board for continuous inefficiency that has led to the cutting of regular supply of water to Kajiado North residents.

“This board has terribly failed to address the water needs of Kajiado North. I am dissolving the board so that we can inject new blood in the company’s management, ” Governor Lenku said at the new Ngong Market.

The board which is chaired by Mr. Samson Kerea has been accused of conspiring with external forces to disrupt the free flow of water for personal gain.

Some board members have also been accused of misusing public money without giving the required services.
” I do not understand why the board cannot pay for its basic bills such as electricity, yet it is charging for water,” noted the Governor.

We must send them home, said Mr. Waichanguru.
