Respect Raila or You Will Be Destroyed Like Echesa- Tanga tanga Warned

Likoni MP Mishi Mboko has warned politicians against mocking ODM leader Raila Odinga, arguing that he can destroy them without much struggle due to his political experience.

In reference to Rashid Echesa’s predicaments, Mboko faulted Dr William Ruto allied politicians of dragging Mr Odinga into non issues, adding that the veteran politician usually minds his business unless provoked.

Early this year, Rashid Echesa, the former Sports minister, was sacked by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Before his unceremonious dismissal, Mr Echesa had dragged Mr Odinga into his woes, even daring him to have him sacked.

“We have one Government led by Uhuru and William Ruto, and those are the only people I will pledge my priority to and not to you, Raila Odinga. I want to dare you Raila, if you have the appointing authority, come and sack me,” he said.

But the former Mombasa Woman Representative now says Ruto’s camp risk being thrown to political oblivion should they continue dragging Mr Odinga to their political struggles.

“Some people have been going around cry foul that Raila is breaking Jubilee, he’s destroying Uhuru’s friendship with Ruto and so on. Raila is not interested in anybody. But if you provoke him, his wrath will catch up with you. Just ask Echesa. Uhuru was not stupid to work with Mr Odinga,” he said on Monday at Magunga.

In his recent public outbursts, Dr Ruto has often accused Raila of allegedly instigating infightings within Jubilee Party. Also, he accused Mr Odinga of poor record in breaking parties.

President Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed the allegations in April, saying that Mr Odinga had never discussed the issues of party with him. He accused Dr Ruto of spreading propaganda on the new found unity between Odinga and him.
