Akothee to launch borehole project in Turkana today

Kenyan Female Artiste Akothee will today launch a borehole project in Turkana to implement the suggested long term solution for the drought situation.

The launch comes close to a month after reports of the famine crisis that struck some parts of the country.

Akothee had earlier updated Kenyans that she had organized for the fixing of boreholes and water tanks and also setting up medical camps equipped with practitioners that will provide free services to the residents.

“I have ordered 6 tanks of 10,000 liters from ROTO TANKS , and they have donated one tank of 5,000 liters for Turkana” she said in a previous post

Akothee had also mobilized Kenyans to contribute towards relief food which they did and she was accompanied by her team to distribute the goodies.

Amidst the ongoing famine, Akothee also launched her foundation aimed at helping the needy.

Akothee hopes that she will have a successful borehole launch mission and this will go a long way in helping the Turkana residents.
