“Dear DCI Kenya, Ezekiel Mutua; there’s a music video doing rounds called ‘pigwa shokathat’s enacting Ivy’s killing and basically asking young men to kill slay queens. It’s horrific to say the least. I hope you can act on it with speed. Urging whoever has seen it not to share,” her tweet read.

Her appeal quickly found the KFCB boss who confirmed having raised the concern with YouTube. Dr Mutua expressed confidence that the video which had attracted about 9,000 views would be pulled down from YouTube.
