Police on Monday arrested activist Boniface Mwangi and accused him of trying to organise a revolution that would topple the shameless Jubilee government.

According to a charge sheet written in very poor handwriting, Mwangi is accused of trying to organise a revolution that is likely to cause civil unrest and breach of peace.

The activist was arrested from his home on Monday morning and taken to central Police station without being given any reason for the arrest.

Economist David Ndii has advised Mwangi to tell the police that revolutions are organised by empty stomachs and no power can stop empty stomachs.

Last week, Mwangi was very vocal in demanding for the release of activist Betty Washiro who had been arrested by police during an anti-corruption demonstration in Nairobi.

Could this be the reason he was arrested? The activist told police that he is a photographer by profession and does not have any information concerning a revolution.
