Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their bundle of joy this morning and Prince Harry couldn’t stop gushing about his son.
Some of Harry and Meghan’s celebrity friends have started weighing in on the happy news—like Michelle Obama (casual).
As you may or may not remember, Harry is pretty tight with both Barack and Michelle, so obviously MObama took time out of her day to congratulate Harry and Meghan on their newborn son.
“Congratulations, Meghan and Harry!” she wrote on Twitter. “Barack and I are so thrilled for both of you and can’t wait to meet him. #RoyalBaby”
Okay seriously, let’s hope they take all the pictures when they meet someday. Before Meghan had her baby, Michelle even offered some words of wisdom to the royal before her wedding day.
“Like me, Meghan probably never dreamt that she’d have a life like this, and the pressure you feel—from yourself and from others—can sometimes feel like a lot,” she said to Good Housekeeping. “So my biggest piece of advice would be to take some time and don’t be in a hurry to do anything.”
“What I’d say is that there’s so much opportunity to do good with a platform like that—and I think Meghan can [maximize] her impact for others, as well her own happiness,” Michelle added, “if she’s doing something that resonates with her personally.”
