Woman Released after Killing President’s Brother

A woman who was charged with the murder of a President’s brother has been freed after admitting to the crime.

The woman, a Vietnamese is said to have been part of a group of two, who had smeared the face of North Korea’s Kim Jong Un’s half-brother- Kim Jong Nam’s face with a banned chemical weapon.

Nam died after the women smeared his face with VX while at Kuala Lumpur Airport.

Ms Doan Thi Huong was released after admitting to the crime, but saying she thought they were part of a reality show when they were given the liquid to smear on Nam’s face.

She denied knowledge that the liquid was fatal.

She was detained by Malaysian immigration immediately after the incident.

While South Korea alleged that the murder was orchestrated by North Korea and that the women arrested were mere pawns, Pyongyang denied the allegations.

Other North Koreans suspected to have been behind the “prank” mysteriously found their way back to Pyongyang, escaping arrest.

Reports indicated that Nam was a great critic of Kim Jong Un, and that the strongman North Korean leader systematically eliminated him.
