Poor Waititu is Just Paying for associating with Ruto

Ferdinand Waititu may be stupid but he cannot be so naive to present such a bizarre Financial Statement to the Auditor General and the Senate.

There is something that is not adding up in these expose. We can make noise on Twitter, get retweets by trolling the governor but someone needs a sober mind to get to the bottom of these.

All counties are corrupt, but someone is trying to take advantage of Baba Yao’s poor education background to malign his name even further.

Waititu is the only governor from Mt. Kenya who has been accompanying Ruto during his various visits to the region and has maintained that the region must stop the DP in the 2022 Presidential elections.

Is the governor paying for his sins? The answer is definitely yes and I agree with his statement.

‘From the ongoing arrests and intimidation, it is nolonger a secret that this is 2022 politics at play and the players in the scheme are known.’ Reads part of Waititu’s statement to the newsrooms.

Waititu is not the only governor close to Ruto who has been implicated on corruption. Early last month, Samburu governor Moses Kasaine was arrested over Ksh84 million corruption scandal. He was later slapped with a 100m cash bail which was reduced after a public uproar.

We are not saying that Waititu is not corrupt, but he should be charged with the crimes he has committed not this public humiliation and intimidation.

There is no way a county government can say they spent millions on South Sudan peacekeeping mission, Free Primary Education (FPE) and coordination of Statehouse functions.

Waititu, just like other governors stole. Auditors should find evidence and not concentrate on public humiliation.

At the end, Waititu will be the biggest winner in this scandal. What happens then? How will it end?

Waititu has invited the EACC to Kiambu, to investigate the alleged lose of funds.

‘Anybody who has evidence that money has been lost or stolen should present the same to the EACC.’

We are waiting for the same. For now, this is just malicious allegations.
