The harsh reality that life and material things are temporary and fleeting has hit Akothee hard this Monday morning. The cold season sure is unapologetically working wonders to our Kenyan celebrities.
Akothee has just been confronted by the truth that she may be famous now with all the big names but after she dies, she will be just like any another corpse.
Akothee is not new to loss making many wonder what has provoked her deep thoughts on life and death. This has hit the songstress hard as she turned to social media to share her thoughts.
akotheekenyaToday they call me All names AKOTHEE ,MADAMBOSS , SIBUORMADHAKO When God will take away his breath , my names will change drastically toΒ BODY ,MAITI , CASCET , MWILI , make up or hair will be not make sense anymore π€ My burial will be all sold out than my shows, not for any reasons but because o one will compete with a dead body, most will come to witness if I was really living a real life, or the things I was posting that made them feel jealous were true π€ no need for road showπ€ or hype . the number of people visiting me when I am in hospital or in need can’t be compared to the number of those who wants to be with me when all looks sugar β€, after doing all rubbish in my life, I sat down in a corner , looked at life from a distance π€ then the word “YOTE NI VANITY” made some sense , and The only person that never changes is MY LIVING GOD , HE WAS THERE when I had nothing , he has been there when those things were coming , He is still here as I live my dreams ,WHO CAN QUESTION GOD ? When I was naked ,He dressed me, when I was down in the mud He picked me, when I was sick He healed me, when I was hungry He fed me, when I was hopeless He gave me hope , when I hit the walls, He made a crack and I saw another rootΒ As you feel worn out today ππ Just typeΒ WHO CAN QUESTION YOU OOOH LORD πππ and type AMEN
So with all these thoughts, Akothee got a wake-up call that all she has are material things that will soon perish but the love of God will never fade.
Akothee is one of the richest Kenyan artistes but she has realized that all those titles are flimsy and perishable hence dedicating her life to Christ is the only true wealth.
In another post, she said that wordly things cost people sleepless nights and she knows this now that she has acquired all the money, shoes, cars and houses she ever dreamt of.
She confirms that humans are insatiable beings and once one gets what they want, they seek more. It’s an endless rat race to death and only contentment in God is the way.
