Ozil among Arsenal players set to be dropped at the end of the season

Mesut Ozil is among seven Arsenal stars who will be allowed to leave the club at the end of the season, that’s according to The Sun

Unai Emery, who has had a decent debut season with the Gunners is said to have lost patience with a number of players who have failed to meet his expectations since replacing Arsene Wenger in 2018.

Ozil, 30, will be allowed to leave but only if a buyer can match his hefty £350,000-a-week wages.

His German compatriot, Shkodran Mustafi is also among those who will be sold if the club can recoup some of the £35million they dished out in 2016 from Valencia.

The reports further add that Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who joined

Arsenal in a swap deal with Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United last year will also be allowed to leave.

The others on the chopping board are Calum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny, Carl Jenkinson, and David Ospina.
