Charles Njagua Kanyi alias Jaguar has warned against scammers using his name to offer loans.
Fraudulent activities have been evident on social media platforms using names of celebrities to woo gullible followers.
A fake Facebook page was created using the name ‘Jaguar Loan App’ announcing how the MP was giving aid to needy Kenyans and all they needed to do was install the app to receive up to KShs 5,000.
The Facebook page was sponsored and could easily reach many people in a very short time.
The Starehe MP found it good to alert members of the public not to be involved in the scam.
Many app developers place counterfeit apps on play stores and app stores and sometimes it is very hard to recognize the original app.
Jaguar made it clear to his followers that he is not part of the scam and does not represent any of his intentions.
Kenyans don’t get duped…..It would be so sad to loose your money to unscruplous people.
