Atwoli visits Moi after Jonathan’s Death

The Central Organisation Trade Union Secretary General Francis Atwoli has paid former President Daniel Moi a visit to condole his family following the death of his son Jonathan Moi who passed on Friday.

The COTU Trade unionist has followed the footsteps of other leaders like President Kenyatta, who also visited the former President.

Jonathan has been eulogized as a humble, kind, generous and courageous person.

 Jonathan lived a quiet life as a farmer but was famous for his exploits as a rally driver. He also hit media headlines after questions emerged over his alleged role in the murder of a British tourist and also during his unsuccessful bid for political office.

As a businessman, he had an interest in large scale commercial farming in parts of Rift Valley, real estate and insurance brokerage.
