Controversial Professor of Law Makau Mutua has come out hitting at the Deputy President William Ruto following church rejection of what they termed as “dirty money”
While taking to his social media Makau Mutua wrote, “Where will Hustler and his coterie DUMP their loot on Sundays now that @KenyaCatholics and @AnglicaninKenya — Kenya’s biggest churches — have rejected DIRTY sacks of money in the Lord’s House? Where will moneybags launder his ill-gotten mulla? @ahmednasirlaw@DonaldBKipkorir – at Headquarters”
His remarks come after the church leaders barred politicians from church harambees claiming that some politicians are misleading Christians by citing wrong bible verses and trying to force the scriptures to say what they want.
This was after DP Ruto made a wrong bible reference leaving Christians in confusion after he quoted a Bible verse, Mathew chapter 6 verse 35, which does not exist.
The DP was speaking at the Citadel Salvation Army Church in Kakamega where he was responding to COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli’s remarks, that he would not be on the presidential ballot in 2022.
