Nandi Elders have vowed to curse Francis Atwoli over his persistent attacks on the Deputy President William Ruto.
Led by Joseph Arap Kebenei, the elders said they will not hesitate in engaging their ancestors to bring unspecified consequences upon Atwoli.
“As elders, we are warning Atwoli to thread carefully lest he provokes us. You cannot attack William Samoei Ruto and go scot free. Any more attacks on Samoei Ruto will lead to painful consequences. Atwoli should watch his tongue or else he will not be there himself in 2022”. Said Mzee Kebenei
Atwoli has recently been on an abusing spree and the elders said his loose tongue is likely to cause incitement.
His recent sentiments that William Ruto will not be on the ballot has left Kenyans wondering if he intends to assassinate the Deputy President.
William Ruto’s security detail has since been enhanced following Atwoli’s outburst.
In 2015, Atwoli was mentioned adversely over the killing of Muchai –a COTU official who was embroiled in leadership wrangles with Atwoli. Muchai was murdered in cold blood when unknown gunmen sprayed his SUV with bullets.
