First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Thursday gave parents some free career advise for their children.
Speaking during the Art and Finance Conference, the mother of three told parents, “to stop imposing careers on the youth and allow them the freedom to pursue their talents.”
“We have pushed them (children) to consider becoming engineers, lawyers, doctors or teachers-anything that, to us, has spelt decent employment,” she added.
She further urged people to consider the field of creative arts as a formidable source of revenue with endless economic opportunities and a source of jobs for our youth.
