Embracing the Kabogo Factor: Why William Kabogo Will Make a Good President Come 2022

There is no doubt that former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo is a man who closely follows the happenings in the Country. He has lately been portraying the picture of a sober man with a sober mind if his activities on twitter are anything to go by.

The former Governor has lately been so vocal in addressing the issues that affect Kenyans and there is no single time that his voice has gone unnoticed when it comes to issues of National importance.

He is also a wealthy man with a vast business empire and as such he is able to marshall heavy financial power to aid his Presidential Campaigns should he choose to go for the Presidency in 2022.

Reports from different quarters across Central Province show that Kabogo will be on the ballot for the Presidency in the 2022 elections.

Well, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has also declared he will be on the ballot come 2022 and this might jeorpadize Kabogo’s chances but even at that Kabogo will surely give his competitors a run for their money should he go all the way to the ballot.

Kabogo on Wednesday stated that given the continued under development and political mimicking he will seek to provide solutions as President.

“I have stated here and now that if things go on the way they are i will vie for Presidency because i have all it takes and i am ready to deal with this menace of corruption,” he stated.

“I served as Kiambu Governor for a whole term and my development record is in the public domain for all, so i am tested and worth the salt,” Kabogo added.

He further went on to caution President Uhuru Kenyatta to rethink his strategy of the Housing plan to build houses for low income Kenynas.

“President Uhuru needs to rework his Housing plan because with the current terms and policies, we will not have the houses constructed,” he said.

He said that after 2022 elections resources should be split according to populations in the counties to help in long term development.
