Manchester United fans spoted Paul Pogba making a cheeky reference to the Champions League win over PSG when he met up with France teammate Kylian Mbappe this week.
Mbappe was on the scoresheet as PSG registered a 2-0 lead going into the second leg of the last-16 tie with United two weeks ago, but a remarkable comeback saw United win 3-1 in Paris and progress on away goals.
Pogba was suspended for the win at the Parc des Princes, but was part of the post-match celebrations on the pitch in front of the travelling United fans who witnessed the famous win.
And Pogba being Pogba, it seems he couldn’t resist a gentle dig at Mbappe when the pair met up for international duty with France this week.
The France Football Federation posted a video showing all the players – many of whom won the World Cup last summer – reunited ahead of their games against Moldova and Iceland.
And Pogba’s greeting to Mbappe did not go unnoticed by United fans.
The United midfielder appeared to mimic Mbappe’s shrugging celebration, as the PSG man looked awkwardly at the camera with a smirk.
Naturally, United fans thought the exchange was referencing the comeback win in Paris, and loved what Pogba had done.
