Canadian citizen Miguna Miguna was on Wednesday night put on the spot after he claimed ODM leader Raila Odinga vied for the presidency in the 1992 general election.
Reacting to French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Kenya, Miguna said it was ironical Raila was still in leadership when other countries such as France were being ruled by young people.
“When Raila Odinga vied for the presidency for the first time in 1992, Mr Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, was only 15 years’ old. One ROOT CAUSE for Africa’s stagnation, decay and backwardness is the refusal of its despots to give way for fresh visionary leadership,” the firebrand lawyer tweeted.
