The Nairobi Nyayo Stadium is set to be reopened ahead of the Beyond Zero Half Marathon.

The Beyond Zero Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, 10th March.

Photos of the new look after the renovation of the stadium have surfaced online and Kenyans cannot seem to get enough of it.

The Stadium has been undergoing renovation for about 2 years now after it was closed down.

Nyayo National Stadium, Kenya’s second largest sports facility is now going to be an all-seater stadium, roofed all round with fitted lifts on the VIP section.

The stadium has also been tuned in a way that can allow persons with disability to also enjoy the services in all access areas.

The last time the stadium was in use was during the 55th Jamhuri day celebrations and was closed down again after the event.

It has indeed been a long time coming but judging from the look of things, the stadium looks much better than the pathetic state that Kenyans were complaining about a couple months ago.

Have a look at Kenyans reactions and thought of this new look.
