EXPOSED! How Cabinet Secretaries and other VIPs are breaking Traffic Rules and Harassing Motorists

The Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinet has issued a statement warning all VIPs against breaking traffic rules and harassing motorists.

The news came after a woman took a photo of a VIP vehicle that has hit her while driving on the wrong side and then drove off. It was later revealed that the vehicle belonged to DPP Noordin Haji.

The matter has been brought to the attention of the DPP. The motor vehicle belongs to the @ODPP_KE and the DPP has directed that immediate action be taken by @NPSOfficial_KE against the driver involved. The public shall be informed of the progress of the case. https://t.co/P8tBFdyFbl— ODPP_KE (@ODPP_KE) March 8, 2019

” Irresponsible conduct by officers on VIP security duties while on public roads has been brought to the attention of the Inspector General of Police.” A statement from police said.

And now Kenyans are lamenting about how VIPs have been mistreating them on the road:

A speeding politician’s car is saluted, not arrested. I would like to urge you to take pictures of CS, MPs, or any other person who’s speeding, overlapping or driving recklessly. If the police will not arrest the lawbreakers, we shall shame them. Hashtag #KillerDriverKE @Ma3Route pic.twitter.com/N2depRHxMa— Boniface Mwangi (@bonifacemwangi) November 17, 2017
