Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has vowed to tighten his security details after doomed assassination prophecy by a famous East Africa prophet.
A Zimbabwean Pastor Ian Ndlovu said one of the popular politician in East African Countries will soon be assassinated and the blame game diverted to the government.
Speaking to his congregants at his church on Sunday, February 17, the preacher mentioned Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, claiming the said leader comes from one of the aforementioned countries.
A video seen by Daily Active Kenya, the preacher vehemently held that God sent him to ask his people to pray for the said leader so as to dismantle the plot.
Reacting to the doomed prophecy, Sonko took to social media claiming the preacher does not give false prophecy and whatever he prophecies happens and thus he has no option but to upscale his security.
“One of the popular politicians will soon be assassinated and the blame diverted to the Government. The assassinators will also die at some point. This preacher does not give a false prophecy. Whatever he prophecies happens,” Sonko observed.
The controversial governor said he would no longer take his security for granted. “Mtu ajaribu kunitrail usiku kama saiziaone (Somebody dare trail me at night, I will deal with you!),”
Sonko has on several occasions claimed that his life was in danger with high ranking government officials threatening him.
At one point the governor refused to operate from City Hall opting to run county affairs from his Mua Hill home over claims that his office was not safe.
In the video, the Divine Kingdom Baptist Ministries preacher failed to mention the name of the politician neither did he narrow down on which country the targeted victim hailed from.
“A vision which God has been showing me, we need to pray for East Africa. I will not mention the country but it is either Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda or Rwanda. In one of the countries, there is a plot to assassinate one popular politician,” he conveyed.
