Pedro has revealed that Chelsea players demanded they sort out their form after heavy losses to Manchester City and Bournemouth.
The Blues were thrashed 6-0 by Pep Guardiola’s men less than a fortnight after Bournemouth scored four past them.
But since then, Chelsea have looked a rejuvenated side after narrowly losing the Carabao Cup to City in post-match penalties and following it up with two morale boosting London derby wins against Tottenham and Fulham.
“We said ‘this is enough’. I spoke during the week about the situation [with my team-mates], but now we’re all focusing on reaching the top four,” the Spaniard said to Sky Sports about his reaction over the heavy losses.
“It’s the most important thing for us until the end, to try to win every game. They’re all finals because it’s so important to get points, try to win every game and if not, it’s going to be so difficult to qualify.”
The Blues could find themselves in the top four if they win their game in hand against Brighton.
