(PHOTOS)Criminal who stabbed JKUAT student converted to carbon

Cases of violent robbery have increased in Juja Kiambu County, yet again another student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) was fatally stabbed under unclear circumstances.

The students are now blaming police for lack of adequate patrols at night and in the morning hours.

It is reported that the JKUAT student was stabbed by thieves at around 5.30 pm in Juja Highpoint.

The victim is currently receiving treatment at Thika Level 5 hospital, one of his attackers was caught and burned while the other escaped.

Early last month, the JKUAT students held a peaceful demonstrations around Juja and its environs to protest against the killing of innocent students.

The protests come after a first-year student at the institution, Tabitha Muthoni, was allegedly stabbed to death on Thursday night as she resisted thugs.​

She was walking together with a friend near Segal Hotel when they were ambushed by thugs who demanded their cellphones.
