Cancer warrior Jadudi bows out after long fight with killer disease. RIP

A statement from his family confirmed Jadudi who came to limelight in 2015 following an emotional blogpost passed away on the night of Monday, March 4 at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral, Kisumu.

It is with sudden grief that I have to announce the loss of our brother Emmanuel Jadudi. He was motivation, warrior, believer in struggles and a jovial guy who made everyone smile. Help me stand with the family for the sudden loss of Jadudi. May your soul have an eternal and peaceful rest with the angels. The 27-year-old had several head surgeries to remove the tumuor that was threatening his life and was flown to Indian hospital where he underwent successful operations.

Through Africa Cancer Foundation, Kenyans managed to raise over KSh 7 million for the treatment even though the initial was to get KSh 1 million. His struggle with the killer disease started in 2012 after which doctors recommended three initial surgeries and he later sought financial help through online campaigns.

β€œWe regret to inform you that Jadudi, a.k.a. Emmanuel Otieno, succumbed to brain cancer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, Kisumu on the night of March 4, 2019,” a statement from Africa Cancer Foundation said.

β€œHe was a real Shujaa! May God rest his soul in eternal peace and comfort his family. ACF mourns Jadudi,” it added.
