Why Manchester United and PSG have been fined over their UEFA Clash

The EUFA clash match pitting Manchester United and French side PSG was one constituting chaos and injuries as United lost two of their dependable strikers to injury although they are at the moment said be recuperating positively.

PSG have been charged by UEFA on four offences setting off fireworks, throwing objects, acts of damage and crowd disturbance and as a result have been fined €41,000 by European football’s governing body.

The Parisians have also been given 30 days to contact United and reach a settlement in regards to damage the travelling fans caused to seating in the stadium and segregation netting.

PSG won the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe, at the second half as well as an inspired performance from former United man Angel Di Maria, in a raucous atmosphere at Old Trafford.

The second leg will be played in Paris on March 6 in which United are expected to record a 3-0 win against PSG to secure a play to the quarter finals.
