People on Twitter showed much concern over a picture of the Queen that was shared to the world. In this picture, the Queen Elizabeth paused with King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan at Buckingham palace, however was picture’s main attraction was the fact that one of her hand was purple.
It appears that her left hand, clasped over her right, is purple in colour, as if bruised or otherwise injured.
The same colouring can be seen in other photographs from the event.
Eagle eyed social media users raised their concerns when the line up photo was posted on the Royal Family’s official Twitter profile.

A number of Twitter users raised the question in the comments section, with many wishing the Queen a speedy recovery.
Regardless of the cause of the apparent discolouration, the Queen appeared well enough to carry out her royal duties.
She held a private audience with the Middle Eastern royals, and was joined by her daughter Princess Anne.
Last June it was reported the Queen had to pull out of a service at St Paul’s Cathedral as she was ‘under the weather ‘ though she was back to work a few days later.
And the previous month Her Majesty underwent eye surgery to remove a cataract.
