Murkomen reveals coalition of cartels planning to jail Ruto

Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen ,Majority Leader of the Senate has come out guns blazing to defend the ongoing graft cases that have rocked Jubilee boat.

Speaking to the news rooms, Murkomen has expressed a no confidence motion on DCI boss George Kinoti saying he is working with a coalition of cartels to portray DP Ruto and the Kalenjin community as corrupt to advance their selfish political agendas.

“I feel that all the campaign that have been going around on social media and the media that Kalenjins are corrupt is being engineered by cartels to scuttle DP Ruto’s 2022 bid,”Murkomen said in part.

The outspoken senator who was speaking with Citizen TV’s Yvonne Okwara alleged that Mr Kinoti was being ‘used’ to paint the deputy president as corrupt, and consequently dim his chances of ever becoming president.

DPP Noordin Haji however remains tough on his comments and has exuded the confidence that the country’s ‘big fish’ will be prosecuted in the ongoing corruption investigations.

He said the agency has changed tact by deviating from relying on charges spelled in the Penal Code but those embedded in various Acts of Parliament.

The President has also promised to ensure that those found culpable, no matter their rank and position in the country, will be prosecuted.

“If you are found to have stolen from Kenyans, be rest assured that you will be jailed…and your community will not defend you,” Uhuru was quoted while speaking in Eastlands a while ago.
