An Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision (IEBC) official
Adan Katello Adano and seven others on Friday appeared before court for hiking a solar lantern government tender.
The suspects are accused that during the 2013 general elections, they
lowered the price of a solar lantern tender so as to sell the tender to the lowest bidder.
According to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, there are 27 witnesses lined up to testify on the case, with 16 who have already testified.
The hearing of the case will continue on 8th to 11th April 2019.
