Ruto apologises after appearing in a national event “shabbily” dressed

The Deputy President William Ruto has been forced to apologize after appearing in a national event but not dressed to the occasion.

The Deputy President on Thursday attended the official Launch of the State Of the Judiciary which was attended by the President Uhuru Kenyatta, Chief Justice David Maraga among other top government officials and other members of the judiciary.

In the entire event and all the invited guests the Deputy President William Ruto appeared out of place with his mix and match suit clad.

DP Ruto humbly apologized to the chief justice saying that he did not intended to disrespect the event.

However, he justified his dress with another event out of town which he was headed to but he had to heed to the call from his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta. DP Ruto also said the invitation delayed that is why he did not have prior preparations to the event.

On criticizing the Judiciary DP Ruto said that is the form of support to the system. He said it is only through criticism that the Judiciary will serve the people up to standards.

On the on going dam project scandal, DP Ruto has termed it as flat lie saying the money in question is only but 7B but Not 21B as stated.
