‘What girl child goes through in the darkness is worse than opening legs in public’ -Akothee

The Abebo hit maker, Akothee has been criticized for her Watamu performance which was said to be indecent. Her stage performance where she opened her legs caused chaos for a whole week after the concert happened. She has been defending her self saying that no one should follow her steps for she is living her life as she wants. After all, that’s what brings food on her table.

She has shared a message on hr Instagram page reveakling that her act of openmg leg is nothing compared to what girls face in public. She narrates; ”Some leaders lack basic manners and use offices to lure young girls into sexual harassment for favours. some are so primitive that the only thing they see in a woman is a Sex object. young educated girls are at more risk than the ones already in clubs and discos, if you start invading our space as women we shall expose all of you.

I came in and told him my story and gave him my form 4 certificates, coz thats all I had πŸ™„ his answer " you are a brilliant beautiful girl ! then he said he will give me a lift, so we went into his Mercedes-Benz , we drove off, at about the round about of integrity center, he took his ugly fat hands and put them on my thighs pulling my dress upπŸ™„πŸ™„, I grabbed his hands and threw it back to himπŸ™„πŸ™„ , he felt offended and put the car besides the road at community and kicked me out of his car πŸ™„πŸ™„ It was dark in the middle of nowhere , whatever happened………… MORALS Did he care whether I got rapped, killed, murdered ! Coz I had only 20 Bob with no phone so there was nothing for thieves, But this was somebody daughter , someone's mother , some rolemochieth kind of shit @veshashillan @rue.baby @fancy_makadia
