Kenya’s veteran rapper Chris Kantai popularly who was among the founders of hip-hop in the local showbiz scene, has drawn his last breath.
According to sources, Kantai was confirmed dead on Wednesday afternoon after he was rushed to a local hospital.
Kantai is the one who brought STL to the limelight after they did a massive collabo called Happy that topped the charts.
The legendary might be dead but his songs will ever remain.

He has been in and out of the hospital and rehabilitation centers in various parts of the Country with the latest one being in Mombasa.
The rapper then stopped making music after he became an alcoholic.
Most of the time, he was spotted taking cheap liquor in backstreet drinking dens.
He tried to make a comeback to the music scene by doing a collabo with Khaligraph Jones but the song didn’t do well.
