Call Police! Akothee blasts and calls gospel musicians hypocrites

Controversial Kenyan songstress Akothee has picked issue with local gospel musicians over how they carry themselves. The star recently wondered why some of Kenya’s finest gospel musicians find it easy to hit clubs at night but will not welcome secular artistes to their churches.

Speaking in an interview with Mseto East Africa, the mother of five claimed Kenyan gospel musicians are hypocrites as they preach water but take wine. According to her, each party should just stick to their forte instead of confusing fans.

”I have a question I want to ask, why do gospel artistes attend our shows in night clubs but we can not perform in churches? I have bumped into some of them in Tribeka. What are they looking for in night clubs?” she posed.

The mother of five was answering to questions posed by gospel singer Size 8 on whether she can receive salvation. The Akothee had been asked whether she could change her ways and become a staunch christian. In her usual demeanor, the songstress claimed she would rather stick to the secular world because Christians will shoo her away from their churches upon seeing her. Akothee wrapped up by claiming she enjoys her current life and would not want to change anything.
